I will be enjoying the festival by gorging on undhiyu puri this year: Kinjal Rajpriya

Just like all other festivals,

Uttarayan

is also going to be a low-key affair for Gujarat celebs who will either be working on this day or celebrating it with their close friends and family members. As the guidelines by the state government allow only select few to gather on the terrace for kite flying this year due to the pandemic, celebs are also keeping their celebrations limited.
And for Kinjal Rajpriya, it will be mostly about spending time with the family and gorging on some mouth-watering Uttarayan food. Talking about it, Kinjal says, “Every year my relatives from Kochi come to Ahmedabad and we all gather on the terrace for a day long kite flying revelry. But this year no one is travelling due to the pandemic. So, it will be a low-key affair for me. But I have already placed the order for undhiyu-puri and other Uttarayan specific sweets and I will be enjoying the festival by gorging on these delicious delicacies with my family.”
Kinjal, who recently finished shooting for her second film after the lockdown, says that safety is a concern and so people must be responsible and make sure they celebrate the festival while following the guidelines. “It is important that we all follow the safety measures and not let our guards down, it is all the most important during festivals where friends and family members gather.”
