Actress Bijal Joshi has earned a lot of popularity as a household name in the Gujarati industry. The actress was seen in a few television serials and rose to fame after her films 'Chor Bani Thangaat Kare' and 'Fera Feri Hera Feri' did well at the box office. Talking about the Coronavirus pandemic affecting India, Bijal exclusively shared her thoughts with ETimes about PM Narendra Modi's decision.
Bijal said, "It was a perfect decision. It was much needed. The only way to stop the Coronavirus is isolating oneself or social distancing. As people were not taking it seriously earlier, the complete lockdown was the need of the hour. We should follow it and support him to survive and save our nation.”
The actress further added, "One message I would like to give the public is: ‘Don’t panic, this too shall pass. If possible, help others financially or however u can, especially old couples who live alone, or those who are not financially strong to survive this. Feed animals and stop forwarding panic messages or videos on WhatsApp or social media. Stay home, stay safe for your family, society and nation. Jai Hind.’”
