A recent study has revealed that having solid friendships adds happiness to one’s life. As our

D-Town

celebs spend most of their time working, having great friends from the industry sure makes life fun. On

Friendship Day

, we talk to D-Towners about their BFFs from Dhollywood.

Esha Kansara & Deeksha Joshi
Even though we are seen as competitors in the industry, we are very close friends. I don’t have to pretend around her and that’s what makes our bond so strong. We are two different personalities, but it works well for us. —Esha Kansara

Alisha Prajapati & Jayaka Yagnik
I am happy to have Jayaka as a friend, she is just like an elder sister to me. During one of my packed schedules in Mumbai, I was craving aamras one day, and when I got home, she had aamras and puri prepared for me. I was so touched. We have promised each other to dance on the track Tera Buzz Mujhe Jeene Na De in each other’s wedding.
—Alisha Prajapati

Vyoma Nandi & Malhar Thakar
Malhar and I hit it off as soon as we met. We have a lot in common. He is the first person I call if I need help regarding work, or general issues or even a simple conversation. So it feels like being around a family member.
—Vyoma Nandi

Pratik Gandhi & Mikhil Musale
Mikhil and I are hardly in touch with each other, but when we meet we just connect instantly. We have spent some crazy time together. We are like brothers and I feel blessed to have a friend like him.
—Pratik Gandhi

Vidhi Parikh & Hemang Dave
Hemang and I became friends on the sets of our film Romeo and Radhika. He broke the ice on the first day of the shoot itself. He has always been there for me whenever I am upset. He is not only a good listener, but also makes me laugh. —Vidhi Parikh

Ojas Rawal & Jayesh More
From poetry to prose, from Dr Shriram Lagoo to Melissa Mccarthy, from human emotion to animal instinct, I have discussed it all with Jayesh. One is extremely lucky to find another being with whom you can share an instantaneous, everlasting, envious connection. Jayesh is that friend of mine.
—Ojas Rawal
