SPECIAL OCCASION:
The Belgian ambassador, Jan Deboutte, and his wife Regy hosted a dinner on the occasion of the Belgian Kings Day. The venue was lit up with diyas and bright lights. Naresh Kapuria was quite taken with the decoration and praised it effusively.It turned out that Satish Gujral had designed the building when Jan and Regy called him and Kiran up on stage to honour them. “This is our National Day in Belgium and this is the first time we are celebrating it in India. We hope to do that for many years to come,” said Jan.
SHOVANA IN A GREAT MOOD:
Shovana Narayan came with her husband Herbert Traxl and was good spirits. She said, “There are four Ds in my life – my Dancing, going to the Daftar and then my husband, the Diplomat, to Drive me back home.”
