The couple had a traditional wedding which was attended by well-known personalities from the city, as well as celebrities from the world of sports and Bollywood. The groom arrived at the venue in a vintage car with an energetic group of dhol taasha players who got the guests grooving. Among those spotted shaking a leg in the baraat were former tennis champ Leander Paes and his girlfriend, actress Kim Sharma, cricketer Yusuf Pathan, and others.

After tying the knot in a beautiful ceremony, Punit told us, "It's been a long journey and we are finally married." Janhvi, who looked lovely in a pink lehenga and kundan jewellery, added, “I am just happy that this day has come and I am looking forward to our journey together."

Besides Leander, Kim and Yusuf, we also spotted actors Sharad Kelkar and Jay Bhanushali, director Mahesh Limaye and music-composer duo Ajay-Atul enjoying the wedding. Talking about fun baraat, Sharad, who was joined by his wife Keerti, said, ‘I have attended a baraat like this after almost 15 years. I think the last baraat I was part of was at my own wedding!" For Leander, it was a one of a kind experience since he has never attended a wedding like this. He always wanted to be a part of baraat where he could dance his heart out. "I always wanted to be part of a baraat like this and dance in it. Finally, my dream of doing that came true as I danced to the beats with Kim. It felt great," says Leander. Irfan Pathan, who too was spotted among the guests, told us, “I met Punit through my brother Yusuf and our friendship goes back a long way. We are very happy for the couple and wish them the best."
