Now that the cultural halls have reopened, Nagpurians are happy to receive the cultural treat. Recently, a unique cultural evening was organised at the Scientific Society Hall.

Keeping in mind the COVID-19 guidelines, various

folk

performances were put forth such as nandi, dindi, jogwa, khandoba, tandav, koli etc. Audiences expressed their appreciation through a huge round of applause. In fact, we heard many in the audience requesting the organisers to come up with more such events in future. Even though the attendance in such events is not as it used to be, cultural lovers of the city are making time for programmes that are rekindling the folk tradition.
