Kalki Koechlin, Aditi Rao Hydari and Prachi Desai walk the ramp at the Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2013 in association with Azva in Mumbai

The season seems to be all about unconventional silhouettes for the Indian bride and designers are walking this unbeaten path with much gusto. On the second day of the Aamby Valley India Bridal Fashion Week 2013 in association with Azva, designers Gaurav Gupta and Pallavi Jaikishan both presented contemporary silhouettes for the modern bride. Jaikishan’s floral indulgence took a new turn as she showcased lehenga dresses and lehenga saris. Gupta, with his avant-garde renderings, created a collection called ‘Lightfall’, replete with sari gowns and lehenga combos. Flaunting his creations were Kiran Rao, Kalki Koechlin, Aditi Rao Hydari and Prachi Desai.
