Karisma Kapoor bonds with kids

On the occasion of the International Women’s Day on March 8, Gitanjali Group saluted the spirit of life with actress Karisma Kapoor and designer Archana Kochhar along with children from Project Crayons — an NGO working to empower marginalised communities in the areas of health, education and rights.
These children have created tassles for Kocchar’s latest collection, which she will showcase at the upcoming edition of the Lakme Fashion Week.At the event, they interacted with both Karisma and Archana.
The jewellery brand endeavours to encompass all aspects of women through their bouquet of brands and on the occasion of Women’s Day, they brought together glamour and the idea of celebrating the spirit of a woman. The idea was to help empower women and make them financially independent. At the event, Karisma was dressed in an outfit from the collection.
Said the actress, “It’s an honour for me to associate with such an initiative. It gives me an opportunity to interact with these lively children. Project Crayons is doing a fabulous job and I am glad I was invited for this.”
