Art celebrates nine years!

doweshowbellyad=0; Sandhya Shetty (TOI photo) More picsTo celebrate nine years of Artland gallery, curator Sunil Chauhan wanted everyone to have a good time and so he invited a select gathering to take a look at a group show of paintings at Museum Gallery on Monday evening.
More than 25 artists showcased their works in the show. But it wasn���t just about serious art talk here, there were quite a few laughs as well! Gary Richardson kickstarted the fun evening with some fast-paced standup comedy while Alyque Padamsee followed with a humorous approach to Merchant of Venice with a monologue.Actors Tarana Singh and Shan Morea joined him later. Madhusudan Kumar, who showcased two sitar paintings in the show, ended the night with some ragas. Enjoying themselves thoroughly were leggy beauties Pooja Misra and Sandhya Shetty. Raell Padamsee hugged Alyque warmly while Ananya Bannerjee and Prafulla Dahanukar caught up with each other.
