The third day of Swara Samrat festival is going to take place on Thursday and Tejendra Narayan Majumder will be seen teaming up with table legend
Zakir Hussain. The event is organised to commemorate Pt Ravi Shankar’s birth anniversary. This is the 8th Season of the festival. After years, both of these musicians are teaming up for a performance, which will take place at Nazrul Mancha.
Swara Samrat is one of the biggest classical music and dance festival in East India and dedicated to sarode legend, Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. In this festival the greatest legends and maestros of Indian classical music are featured along with the brightest young maestros.
Musicians like Pt. Ronu Majumder, Atul Upadhyay, Tanmoy Bose, Uday Bhawalkar, Nishat Khan and Anubrata Chatterjee also performed on the first and second day of the festival.
