Party time for Kanchanjunga Express cast

The party gates at a city lounge were thrown open on Saturday by the unit of Kanchanjunga Express. But making a damadol out there was the cast of Manoj Michigan’s comedy starring Rajdeep Gupta and Shaheb Bhattacherjee!
Talking about this party hijack, Rajdeep said, “We were invited to the bash and had a great time. Four months after wrapping up the shoot, I met the director and the cast of Damadol.It was more of a reunion.” Arnab Ghosh, director of Kanchanjunga Express, explained that the producers of the two films are close friends and that led to a joint celebration. “In fact, my next film, Thakurmar Jhuli, will feature some of the actors from Damadol. We have known each other for long and belong to a common circle of friends.”
Since it was a post-Bijoya bash, most of the invitees came dressed in traditional attire. But that didn’t stop them from hitting the dance floor. “As the dhaakis drummed up a storm, we broke into bhashan dance,” recalled Rajdeep. And seems like actors will be actors wherever they go. “We kept ourselves engaged with a lot of mimicry,” added Rajdeep. Also heard at the do was that Manoj is set to make a sequel to Damadol. It’s going to be raining masti in Tollywood!
