Award

at Pt Pannalal Ghosh Memorial Festival. Dr Satish Patki handed over the trophy to Gupta at Sahu Smarak Bhavam Sahbhagruha on Monday night. Also present at the event was flutist Sachin Jagtap who organised the festival. Gupta, who was grateful to the organisers for the award, expressed his gratitude to his guru Pt Ghosh whom he credits for his success. The artiste later mesmerised the audience with a melodious flute performance.
Starting his performance with Maru Bihag raga and later playing Madhupalas tune, Gupta then played Hansdhawani and Mohankans ragas. He also sang the bhajan Dev Devhanyat.
