Happy Street goes houseful at Circuit House Road

Tug of war, enthralling display of Indian martial arts, sack race and many more, Happy Street which took place at Circuit House road recently, was an event which Kolhapurkars thoroughly enjoyed. Formal as well as informal dance groups treated the road as their stage displaying their moves. Sanjeevan English Medium School, through their performances, gave out socially relevant messages.
It was a cold morning. However, Kolhapurkars remained unfazed by the chill and the event had hundreds of people gathering. The initiative by Times Group, promotes use of motorable roads for non-motorable activities. Every Happy Street initiative so far has received a good response. This time was no different.
