The last few screenings before the city’s Kalabhavan Theatre closes for some high-tech renovation drew a good crowd, all of whom soaked in the nostalgia and cine discussions that the theatre was always associated with. While the first screening showed glimpses of Maharaja Swathi Thirunal’s musical mastery, the second flick was the National Award-winning Gramom that was rooted in traditions and beliefs.
At the end of the screening, the usual compliments and banter about the features followed.
