As the country is observing Bakrid aka Eid Al-Adha, the faithful in Thiruvananthapuram did not forget to pray for those in the State who are struggling to get back to life after the deluge. Thousands of believers thronged the Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium on Wednesday morning to take part in Bakrid prayers performed under the guidance of Palayam Mosque Imam Maulavi Suhaib VP. In his special Bakrid message the Imam spoke about the difficulties caused by the flood and how everyone, regardless of religion, should stand together to overcome the loss.
