Rubik's cube competition held in Kochi

Rubik's Cube enthusiasts had a field day in Kochi, as a competition in various categories was organised by Cubing Kerala, titled Cochin Monsoon Open, in the city today.
The event, which was held at Shikshak Sadan, saw the participation of players from different age groups, though most of the contestants were youngsters. A highlight of the programme was the round in which the participants solved the cube, blindfolded.There were a total of eight puzzles at the event - 2 * 2, 3 * 3, 4 * 4, 5 * 5, skewb, pyraminx, 3 * 3 one-handed, 3 * 3 blindfolded.
Cubing Kerala was formed by three young techies last year, and the group has been organizing similar events across the State, ever since.
