, director general, JKK and Furqan Khan, additional director general (technical) were also present on the occasion. The exhibition showcases an impressive array of around 190 artworks. On the occasion, Dr B.D. Kalla said that both traditional and modern artworks from around 190 artists are being displayed under one roof. "The exhibition will serve as an inspiration for the younger generations. It will help them realise what sort of art style interests them," he said.

The exhibition offers a peek into the perspectives and styles of contemporary artists of Rajasthan. It highlights the art of Rajasthan as seen in the national and international context. It also exhibits the contemporary painting and printmaking traditions practiced by the contemporary artists of Rajasthan. Contemporary art has become more global in nature and the exhibition is a way to integrate it into daily life.
