NMIMS has a virtual engineers day celebration

organized Engineer’s Day celebration event on September 15. The highlight of the event included the launch of the very first newsletter of STME, The STMExpress, some splendid performances by the STME students and the grand finale of Arcania 2020, a quiz organized by Turing Club (The technical learning center of

NMIMS

, Indore Campus).

The event started with an empowering speech by the Director NMIMS Indore Dr. Prachi Gharpure. The Director in her inaugural address welcomed all the students of STME and talked about the positives of engineering life.

The event then witnessed the launch of STMExpress, along with its website. The aim of the newsletter was to keep us updated with the ever changing world of technology and to provide the students with a platform to showcase their creative and literary skills. We also got to know some amazing words of wisdom by our faculty members. In between the main events we had some amazing performances by the STME students which included

standup comedy

, singing, dancing and instrumentals.

Then in Arcania 2020 we witnessed a wide array of questions from numerous technical topics that were asked to the contestants. The aim of the event was to challenge the students to keep up with the alarming facts and figures of the ever-growing world. Cash prizes were given to winner of the event Brijaditya Chile-MBA(Tech.) VII Sem and runner-up Devansh Kothari-MBA(Tech.) I Sem.

Dr. Aaquil Bunglowala -Associate Dean STME, NMIMS, Indore proposed a vote of thanks extending his gratitude to Universities authorities, all the faculty members and students of STME for making this event possible and successful. All in all, the event delivered on its promise and gave the audience a lot of food for thought along with some great eye openers!
