Group Odissi recital by students of Chhandak

It was one of those weekends when Ravindra Natya Gruha came alive with the tunes of

classical music

and reverberations of

ghungroo

. Artistes from across the country visited

Indore

to participate in the Chhandakotsav celebrating the classical for Odissi. Besides special performances from visiting exponents, students who are still learning the ropes of the dance also performed in group presentation under the guidance of

Odissi

guru Dalia Dutta. The visual of a swarming and gracefully moving body of students was quite spectacular for the audience who had come to see the show. The costumes and lighting added to the grandeur.
