, was a perfect example of Hyderabad’s ganga-jamuna tehzeeb. Spreading the message of religious tolerance and brotherhood at the do, were the chief guests of the evening — Chinna Jeeyar Swami and Moulana Sayeed Ul Qadri, who shared the dais.

Both of dignitaries spoke about the importance of fasting and religious harmony. Later, the 250-odd guests were treated to a scrumptious spread of authentic Hyderabadi delicacies such as biryani,
kebabs and more. A slew of the city’s politicos, businessmen and bureaucrats were spotted exchanging greeting at the do.
