Anam Mirza's was an elegant Hyderabadi wedding

Unlike the bombastic sangeet ceremony which was loaded with Bollywood razzmatazz, Sania Mirza’s sister Anam’s wedding reception on Friday was a very simple, elegant affair. The white and pink themed do was attended by the who’s who of the city.
Celebs galore
The cynosure of all attention at the evening was the star couple, Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi. The former Miss India looked gorgeous in her purple half saree while Mahesh looked dapper in his black suit.Shuttler Jwala Gutta, who turned-up in a blue-golden lehenga, was seen bonding with her old friends, while Lakshmi Manchu, KTR and Pullela Gopichand made a quick exit after blessing the couple.
SRK’s absence, left the guests disappointed
Bollywood’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan was expected to attend the do and many of the guests were heard enquiring if the actor was coming. Unfortunately they were left disappointed when they found out that SRK couldn’t make it.
Hyderabadi cuisine
The Hyderabadi delicacies served at the dinner left the guests asking for more as they gorged on specialities like African Chicken, Lukmi, Mutton Keema, Dum Ke Kebab, fish fry, Zafrani and Sufaida biryani before rounding it off with Phirni and Qurbani ka Meetha.
