Science teacher helps keep kids occupied during lockdown

It’s been a week since we have been in a lockdown. And to help kids pass their time and learn something more about science and the physical world,

Anwesha Singbal

decided to host a series of fun scientific activities that children can learn in the safety of their home. “We work closely with children, so we thought we could do whatever possible to keep kids occupied during this time. So we initiated the first campaign of #GoCorona_CreativeRahona where we invited parents and children to send us videos of their creative outbursts at home and now we have decided to focus on spreading some scientific thinking,” says Anwesha from the Abhinav Creationz group.

programme. Especially curated for school children and adults alike, the programme will encompass a few lessons on elementary astronomical calculations among other things.

The lessons and activities will be shared on the social media page of the Abhinav Creationz. “I thought now is the best time to take up something scientific without disturbing the everyday life, and keep the school going age group engaged and learn something interesting. I will be sending one lesson per day and people can interact with us if they have queries,” says Rajshree.
