Don Bosco College women’s team Runners up at the Inter- Collegiate Tennikoit Tournament

An Inter-Collegiate Tennikoit Tournament was organised by the Sports Section of Goa University from 29 August to 1 September 2023 at the Goa University Jubilee hall, Taleigao. The tournament had a total participation of 41 women’s teams and 37 men’s team composed of the different colleges across Goa. In the Women’s Category, Don Bosco College, Panaji won the first match against Goa Multi-Faculty College. In the second match,
DBC defeated P.E.S college, Ponda and moved up to the pre- quarters, where, again the team defeated Govt. College, Khandola. In the Quarter-Finals DBC won against Goa College of Pharmacy and reached the semi-finals. After overpowering St. Xaviers College, Mapusa, in the semi final, DBC moved to the finals of the tournament. In the Final round however Don Bosco College, Panjim lost against Govt. College, Pernem and secured the position as the Runners up of the women’s category of the Tennikoit Tournament. On the other hand, in the Men’s Category, Don Bosco College won the first match against Narayan Zantye College.
