An open-stage event to celebrate all kinds of music

On World Music Day, Kala Academy organised a special open-stage event, that over 45 singers and musicians participated in. Several people volunteered to come up on stage and perform old and new numbers, including devotional and Konkani songs, besides mando and instrumental performances on the guitar, violin, sitar, hamonium and ghumot.
The students from the Kala Academy’s School of Drama performed songs from the Parsi-style play Yahudi Ki Ladki, the music of which was composed by the award-winning Amod Bhatt.
