Timescity.com organised a rocking do last weekend, with popular Punjabi singer Lehmbar Hussainpuri performing live at Jynxxx. The evening started with music spun by the resident deejay, DJ Monty. What caught everyone’s attention at the party was a group of salsa dancers, dressed in white kurtas and colourful dupattas, showing off their moves on the floor.
Soon, Hussainpuri got things moving with his chartbuster “Sadi Gali”, from the movie “Tanu Weds Manu”. Eye-catching, in a bright red costume, he’d even teamed up his outfit with a red turban!
PRE-HOLI BASH: Neha and Prerna, who’d flown down from London to celebrate Holi in India, were spotted having fun at the do with their bunch of friends. DJ Khushi made a late entry with his friend Alisha. The duo were seen getting cozy on the dance floor. When the do ended, Mohit Jain, the owner of Jynxxx, told us, “Next month, we’ll have Apache Indian perform live at the club during Baisakhi.” Added Salama Yamini, head, IMC, “Indian Music Conference 2011 intends to organise more live performances in the near future.”
