And working the musical magic for them was DJ Mia, the official DJ of the internationally acclaimed group, Black Eyed Peas. “I’ve been to Delhi before to play, but this time it’s totally different. The city wears a new look because of the Commonwealth Games.
I wish I could stay back and watch a few games,” said DJ Mia, who had to fly out to Malaysia the following morning for some other work commitments.
MUSIC MASTI: Guests grooved till late as Mia took them on a musical spin. Jade, a swimmer from Kenya, said, “The music is simply amazing. Delhi’s night life really rocks.”
PLAYERS’ NIGHT OUT: Players from Australia, Barbados, Kenya, Uganda and many other participating countries were present. The Kenyan group even celebrated the birthdays of two of their teammates. Francois from Australia was all praise for India. “I’m totally in love with India and its people. I’m having a great time and my stay at the Games Village is very good. Indian women are beautiful,” he said, when we asked him about what he liked most in India.
