Winter Theater Festival gets underway

On day two of 14th TFT Winter National Theater Festival 2019, there was an interaction with Dr Jaspal Deol, HOD, theater and television dept. Punjabi university Patiala. Besides, at Navrang Theatre, Bal Bhawan Sector 23, on day two the Hindi play ‘Rishton Ka Kya Naam Rakhe’ was staged. Written by Dr Atamjit Singh, directed by Mahesh Vashishta, by group Rang Parivartan, Gurugram, the play is about the suffering of people during Partition of India, the helplessness that prevailed, the tragedy of losing loved ones and their homes.Amongst the characters, someone lost their beloved, someone lost their employment, and someone lost their land and livelihood. This play through its characters, who have lost their mental balance and are in the mental asylum, portrays the tragedy born of that tragic and inhuman political decision.
