Road safety summer camp concluded

Continuing with their efforts to make young minds aware about the traffic laws during their summer holiday period, the traffic wing of UT police is organizing Road Safety

Summer Camp

at Children’s Traffic Park in Sector 23 in four batches.
And Friday saw the completion of third summer camp which had 43 students from different schools taking part. While a special session, headed by SSP (Traffic and Security) Shashank Anand was held on the occasion, the youngsters were also given certificates and traffic cop magnets. Also, an activity to highlight bad effects and results of drunken driving was organized on the occasion. Later, the participants, officers and other staff members took pledge to follow traffic rules. During the ongoing summer camp activity, different events, talks are being organized which includes ‘Be seen Be Safe’, reflective colour during night driving, road safety games etc.
