Simultaneously pursuing a masters degree from Panjab University, Ishika also gives tips on dealing with stress during exam time. "Mine is a niche blog since its deals with education and that too only two topics. Yet, I find there is great interest in these subjects from students of commerce. I get frequent queries on stress too. Though I keep busy pursuing my M.Com and can't update the vlog as much as I would like to," says Ishika.

A young fashion blogger Gursheen Kaur calls herself an "extreme extrovert." She says, "I started blogging when I was pursuing my MBA and when my college was on indefinite strike. It was my mom who suggested we should start blogging. I was also inspired by Chiara Ferragni and love experimenting with fashion, and felt that it would put my writing skills to good use." However, Gursheen says with more people jumping into this platform, quality has deteriorated. "It's like these days everyone calls themselves a blogger just by posting a few pictures. It's in a rut with nothing really fresh left in it," she rues.

Food is another huge genre for blogging. Swati Khosla, who hails fromChandigarh, is a food blogger since three years. "I started a food blog because food is something that is an inherent part of Punjabis' lifestyle. I love eating out and taking pictures of food and also enjoy baking. After leaving my corporate job, I had a lot of free time. So, I thought of sharing this passion on public platform with others," says Swati who used to write food reviews for an online food ordering platform. She adds, "I understood the social media landscape so I choose Instagram. It is evolving with the increase of social media users and popularity of digital content. With this, food blogging will also grow manifold."
