The day of
international women’s day
is celebrated in different ways at different places and the passport seva kendra (PSK) of Bhopal too makes sure that every year the women who visit the office for various reasons feel special on the day which is for women. Just like every year, this year too special tokens were given to all the women applicants who visited the centre.
Unlike every year where only women were given special preference, this year the family members who were with the applicants too were given special preference there. The women were really happy with the initiative and regional passport officer (RPO)

believes that initiatives like these not motivate the people who come in but also the people who work there.
Every year a theme colour is chosen which adds to the festivities of the day. This year the colour blue was chosen and all the staff members were seen in blue dresses like males were donning blue shirts while females flaunted their sarees. Special selfie booths were designed for the applicants were social messages were written and keeping in mind the coronavirus masks too were disturbed to all the women applicants on the premises.
A competition too was organised in which the applicants were asked to write the ways in which the society can become a better place for the women and that was made to fill with the male applicants in the centre. The staff members like every year received positive feedback for the initiative that they took.
