Kannada stars at a music event

It’s been three years since the late Vishnuvardhan founded a Kannada and Hindi film music karaoke club. And to mark the occasion, the members of the club organized a show where the Sahasa Simha’s favourite Hindi and Kannada songs were sung. A 12-piece orchestra headed by Jairam accompanied the singers and the band was directed by musician Gururaj.
Members of the Kannada film fraternity such as Bharathi Vishnuvardhan, Jayanthi, Ramesh Aravind, Sagar, Sushma Veer and K Manju showed up for an evening full of melody.
Ramesh, who was asked to say a few words, recalled the contributions of senior stars like Vishnuvardhan, Bharathi and Jayanthi. Guru Kiran and Aniruddha enthralled the audience with their performances.
The surprise of the evening was when Bharathi took the stage to sing a song from one of her movies.
