Citizens walk to raise awareness about Tipu's fort in Bengaluru
At 11 pm on Friday night, in front of the entrance to Tipu Sultan's fort, a crowd of about 300 people — all dressed in red — had gathered to take a walk around the borders of the old fort. The heritage walk was organized by German filmmakers Miriam Jakobs and Gerhard Schick to bring to light the historical importance of the fort and to raise awareness about the dilapidated condition that it presently is in.
