Ladies gather to discuss about medicinal plants
Medicinal plants are of utmost use and various ailments are cured only on these basis. So on that note, ladies of Aurangabad gathered to discuss the importance of these plants. Organised by a city-based group S T mahila mandal, experts on medicinal plants were invited to speak about such plants. The first week of July is celebrated as van mahotsav and to mark this week, the group came together. Dr Anagha Nevpurkar was present to explain the ladies about various medicinal plants and how many of them can be grown at our own houses. She also mentioned what plants can be used for which illnesses without even consulting doctors many a times. Other doctors like Dr Alka Karnik and Vidha Patare, Shobha Bhusari were also present. The ladies had various questions in stored and got their queries cleared. Dressed in green sarees, the ladies made the most of the van mahotsav.
