Aurangabadkars treated to Gayan-Bayan & Nat-Sankirtan tradition

The four day festival organised by city-based MAHAGAMI received a mesmerising response. Academy. This was followed by Gayan Bayan.

Gayan Bayan

which is a religious dance performed by disciples of

Sankardev

was showcased by Uttar Kamalabari Satra Sankardeva Krishti Sangha from

Majuli

, Assam. The gayans (singers) and the bayans (instrument players) put a show to everyone’s amazement and the audience got to learn about their traditions.
