Lord Shiva

was recently celebrated across India. However, some of the Aurangabadkars celebrated it a distinctive manner.Celebration of Mahashivratri includes pouring

milk

on the linga, however, most of them did not pour milk for the celebration as it goes down the drain. Instead, various members of city-based NGOs continued their annual Mahashivratri tradition by saving hundreds of litres of milk poured on the Shiv Linga from being wasted.
