A traditional cultural welcome to foreign tourists in the city

Ajanta and Ellora caves have always been an attraction to many tourists nationally and internationally. While many foreign tourists visit the UNESCO World Heritage site throughout the year, this visit was a special one for them. It was special welcome for the foreign tourists who came here by Deccan Odyssey Luxury train on the platform number four at Aurangabad railway station recently.A group of artists performed Maharashtra’s traditional cultural dance as part of welcoming these foreigners. Wearing colourful traditional attires, these artistes performed legim dance and other traditional dances at the railway platform. Most of foreign tourists travel in this train and visit Ajanta, Ellora, Bibi Ka Maqbara, Panchakki and other various heritage places in Aurangabad. The welcome dance aimed at giving them a warm welcome and getting them acquainted to the Indian traditions and culture.
