A laddu making event by the ladies of Aurangabad

On the occasion of Ashadi Ekadashi several devotees of

Lord Vitthal

made groundnut and

jaggery

laddus for distribution. The ladies of Shantiniketan Colony in Aurangabad made around 51 thousand laddus to be distributed to the warkis in

Pandharpur

. The group has been doing the activity for the past 13 years and this year too, with great zeal and enthusiasm, they took up the seva activity.

Since everyone cannot make it to Pandharpur to help the warkaris, the group in the city do their bit by engaging themselves in this activity. To make the seva worthwhile, they also make a makeshift mandap so that they could carry out the

laddu

making activity peacefully. They also positioned a Lord Vitthal’s idol to get everyone’s energy going.
