Music fest for peace in the city

A three day musical fest,

Sangeet for Peace

in memory of Late

Ustad Raheman Khan

, the pioneer of tabla in Gujarat will take place at Godrej Garden City from December 27 till 29. The event is organised by Kalavant Center for music and dance along with

Global Indian International school

.
The three day event is divided in three parts namely 'Sangeet for harmony', 'Sangeet for soul' and Sangeet for Happiness. The first day that is December 27 will see performances by Niraj Parikh and Konkana Banerjee on vocals and Deepsankar Bhattacharjee on sitar.
The December 28 evening will see performances by Jatateerth Mevundi on vocals, Imran Khan and Azam Ali Khan on tabla and Shahid Parvez on sitar. The final day will see performances by Anup Jalota, Ustad Raza Ali Khan and Adil Khan on vocal, Hetal Metha on tabla and Ustad Liyakat Ali Khan on sarangi.
These artitst will be accompainted by Ustad Kadar Khan, Nakul Mishra and Hemant Joshi on table and Ghulam Ali and Ikran Khan on sarangi.
