Lil Nas X has dropped the latest video of his song '
Industry Baby
' and it has got everyone talking. The video that sees the rapper trying to break out of prison, also has him stripping down to nothing and dancing with a group of male dancers, all in the nude.
While the video has got social media buzzing and cheering the rapper on, it is another detail about the clip that has won fans over. According to a report on BuzzfeedNews.com, the music video is listed as a fundraiser for a nonprofit bail relief fund. The proceeds from the clip will help the
NGO
combat mass incarceration and racial disparities in the justice system and fund bail for those in need.
"Music is the way I fight for liberation. It's my act of resistance. This isn't just theoretical for me. It's personal. I know the pain that incarceration brings to a family. And I know the disproportionate impact that cash bail has on Black Americans," Lil Nas X writes on the project's website.
Sharing stills from the track, he wrote, "YOU WAS NEVER REALLY ROOTING FOR ME ANYWAY!!!! WHEN I'M BACK UP AT THE TOP I WAANNNA HEAR U SAY!!"
