During a star-studded evening at Paul McCartney’s concert, Taylor was seen intentionally dodging her ex John Mayer, who was romantically linked with her around 2009, when he was 32, and Swift was 19. The legendary musician, 83, performed an intimate show at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 28. Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and John Mayer were among the concert attendees. As seen in the pictures obtained by TMZ, the exes were seen having a narrowly missed run-in. In the photos, Taylor was seen chatting with Olivia Rodrigo at the Fonda Theatre, as John also mingled with guests. The outlet also reported that Taylor later snuck out of a different exit than John. Swift and Mayer first connected in 2009, when they collaborated on his single ‘Half of My Heart.’ The musicians went on to perform together a handful of times. Taylor Swift and John Mayer were romantically linked in 2009. While neither Swift nor Mayer confirmed their relationship back then, both of them released breakup tracks widely believed to be inspired by the relationship, which ended in 2010: Swift's ‘Dear John’ and Mayer's ‘Paper Doll.’ As for Paul McCartney’s concert, which was titled ‘Paul McCartney Rocks the Fonda’, other than Taylor Swift, John Mayer, and Olivioa Rodrigo, many other celebrities also attended the event.
