So, Martin Scorsese is not the only one to have problems with superhero films. He has company in writer-director Boots Riley who thinks that the genre is nothing but cop movies. Citing the much-lauded film '

Joker

' as an example, he said that it was no different from any other superhero movies that tend to focus on a single idea - that nothing is wrong with the system. Talking to a comic-based website, the maker of the film 'Sorry to Bother You' said that 'Joker' is anti-rebellion which reinforces the idea that only the poor rebel out of jealousy and anger against the rich. Describing it as a cop film, he added that the film fails to touch on one aspect of society and that is that the rich get richer by exploiting workers.

Boots, however, is all praise for Joaquin Phoenix, the actor who plays the title role of Joker. He says that he loves Phoenix and hopes to work with him some day.
