Hollywood films that teach us money laundering is an art!

Money Laundering is an art. Yes, a bad one, but an art nevertheless. In layman terms, money laundering is the conversion of 'dirty' money into - seemingly - 'clean' money. Money Laundering business and Hollywood might seem worlds apart, but when it comes to movies, the two seem to fit perfectly. Let's take a look at some of the Hollywood classics that teach us how money laundering too is an art well mastered by some while some consider it as a dirty, filthy act of creating financial mess.
2/7

Money Monster

This Jodie Foster directed film brings together the magic of Julia Roberts and George Clooney together after a long time. With such star power both in front and behind the camera, we are certain this film will have all the elements of a gripping film. Set on the Wall Street, the film is tale of a common man who takes a newsroom hostage to take revenge of his loss of money because of a misleading advice given to him.
3/7

The Big Short (2015)

The film offers a convincing look at American financial collapse of 2008 and, although you might occasionally find yourself lost in the details, McKay's comedic background and outstanding cast are there to balance it out.
4/7

The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)

Set in the period from the mid-eighties, Martin Scorsese's 'The Wolf of WallStreet' is a shocking reflection on Wall Street. Leonardo Di Caprio portrays the character of Jordan Belfort and chronicling his rise and fall on WallStreet.
5/7

Margin Call (2011)

One of Kevin Spacey’s finest work till date, 'Margin Call' digs into the how and why of the market crash, not just the mere economics of it but also the culture of Wall Street and the excuse that individuals tell themselves.
6/7

Boiler Room (2000)

Ben Younger’s 'Boiler Room' is an outstanding movie and it doesn’t matter even if you know very little about stocks and bonds and insider trading and what-not, this movie will definitely keep you intrigued. Starring Vin Diesel, Ben Affleck and other brilliant actors, the movie is gripping and will you keep you on the edge of your seat right till the very end.
7/7

Lethal Weapon 2 (1989)

'Lethal Weapon 2' is a 1989 American buddy cop action film directed by Richard Donner, and starring Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Joe Pesci , Patsy Kensit, Derrick O'Connor and Joss Ackland. It is a sequel to the 1987 film Lethal Weapon and second installment in the Lethal Weapon series. Gibson and Glover respectively reprise their roles as L.A.P.D. officers, Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh, who protect an irritating federal witness (Pesci), while taking on a gang of South African drug dealers hiding behind diplomatic immunity. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Sound Editing (Robert G. Henderson). The film received mostly positive reviews and earned more than $227 million worldwide.
