Furious 7: Fascinating facts about the film

Hollywood actor Vin Diesel has dedicated the new Fast & Furious Universal Studios Ride Supercharged to late actor Paul Walker, reports PTI. The 47-year-old star traded the franchise's signature muscle cars for a new kind of ride, which opened on June 24, said The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm more excited than anybody to get on that tram, and I want to be in the front seat and feel it out and get that adrenaline pumping," Diesel was quoted. Supercharged is a 3-D motion addition to the park's classic studio tour tram ride. It is an explosion-packed car chase using hydraulics and HD images projected on a massive 360-degree screen. Riders are blasted with wind, fog and mist as they attempt a high-speed escape through crashing cars and gunfire.
"I know when we were making it, it felt like we were creating something that I had never experienced. We employed all kinds of incredible technology," said Diesel before opening the ride at the ceremony. The Furious 7 actor, along with co-stars Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Jason Statham, dedicated the ride to his Fast & Furious co-star Walker, who died in a car crash in 2013.

The report also mentioned that the stunt car is adorned in wild graphics, orange paint and a full body kit along with two Holley Performance nitrous oxide bottles reside at the rear. There's also a bulky roll cage fitted, along with other necessary stunt reinforcements that will further blunt the car's performance. The Supra pictured was originally tipped to fetch between 150,000 and 200,000 dollars in the United States.
