Where to watch BAFTA nominated film ‘Sinners’ on OTT platform

The BAFTA 2026 nominations are finally here, and it is a massive year for cinema. While the Oscars set the stage last week, the British Academy added even more excitement with expanded categories. Leading the pack is ‘Sinners’, which has already made history with 16 Oscar nominations. With Alan Cumming hosting the big night on February 22, fans are eager to see which films take home the gold. Before that, let's look at where to watch 'Sinners' on OTT.

The chilling plot of ‘Sinners’

Based in 1932 Mississippi, the plot revolves around twin brothers who move back to their hometown to establish a juke joint and begin a new life. But soon, they realize that their town is haunted by a terrifying supernatural entity. The film is a masterful combination of period drama and gothic horror, delving into themes of systemic racism and survival. While the twin brothers struggle to survive, they have to deal with vampires and societal demons. It is a gripping and thrilling experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

A stellar cast

The film features a brilliant ensemble led by Michael B. Jordan, who delivers a dual performance as twin brothers Smoke and Stack Moore. Along with Hailee Steinfeld as Mary, the mysterious ex-girlfriend, Jack O’Connell as the chilling vampire villain, Remmick, Wunmi Mosaku shines as Annie, a Hoodoo practitioner, and veteran Delroy Lindo as the musical legend Delta Slim.

BAFTA nominations

Sinners has secured 13 BAFTA nominations, making it one of the most celebrated films of the season. Ryan Coogler earned a nod for Best Director and Original Screenplay, while Michael B. Jordan and Wunmi Mosaku are recognized for their acting. The film’s technical mastery is also on display with nominations for Cinematography, Costume Design, and Production Design. Notably, Autumn Durald Arkapaw made history as the first non-white woman nominated for Best Cinematography at the BAFTAs for her stunning work.

If you want to catch this award-winning film, it is currently available for streaming on JioHotstar. Depending on your subscription plan, you can watch it in high definition as part of their library. For those who prefer other platforms, the film is also available for digital rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Video and the Apple TV Store. It’s the perfect time to watch before the ceremony on February 22 to see if it sweeps the major technical categories.

Other major films in the race

Several other titles are making waves this season alongside ‘Sinners’. ‘One Battle After Another’ leads with 14 nominations, focusing on a revolutionary's search for his daughter. ‘Hamnet’ explores the tragic life of William Shakespeare’s family, while ‘Marty Supreme’ tells the story of a 1950s table-tennis prodigy.
