The first international trailer of Marvel Studios' forthcoming superhero movie 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' starring
Tom Holland has arrived, and it promises more action, laughs, a flying supervillain and bigger problems.
The new trailer sees Peter Parker picking up his story where it left off in 'Captain America: Civil War'. Inducting him into the league of superheroes is the legendary Iron Man himself Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr.
While Tony's advice to the college-going lad is to stay out of the crime-fighting business, the trailer hints at a young teenager trying hard to prove himself.
Apart from the 'CACW' flashbacks, there are also a few scenes which take references from the 'Spider-Man' franchise featuring Tobey Maguire, and another from the 'Amazing Spider-Man' franchise starring Andrew Garfield. The major costume upgrades, along with the new Spider logo, are noteworthy features.
All in all, the trailer pays respect to the past films while swinging its way into the future. Directed by Jon Watts, the film is slated to release on July 7, 2017.
