Top 5 allegations Brooklyn Beckham has levied on parents David and Victoria Beckham

The Beckhams are one of the world’s most famous families, and speculations about the tensions within the family have long been there. Now, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s son, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, has broken the silence over his “complete estrangement” from his parents.
In a lengthy Instagram story statement, divided into six parts, the 26-year-old entrepreneur and photographer described what he called an “irreparable breakdown” in their relationship, alleging years of manipulation, press control, emotional harm, and repeated attempts to undermine his marriage to actress Nicola Peltz Beckham.

Brooklyn has alleged that his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, tried to sabotage his relationship with Nicola long before their marriage in 2022. Brooklyn has also claimed that Victoria performatively praised Nicola in interviews. "My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped,” he wrote.

Brooklyn has also alleged that his parents, David and Victoria, have consistently tried to shape media narratives about the family. Brooklyn accused them, saying, “For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family.” He added that they published lies at the “expense of innocent people.”

Brooklyn says his parents pressured him to sign away rights to his own name just weeks before his wedding. He wrote, “They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date.” He noted that doing so would have affected him, his wife and his future children. “My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since,” added Brooklyn.

Addressing long-rumored wedding dress drama, Brooklyn alleged that Victoria Beckham withdrew from designing Nicola’s gown at the “eleventh hour,” forcing her to urgently find another option.
Another accusation Brooklyn made is that his mother, Victoria Beckham, “hijacked” his first dance with his wife. He further added, “Instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead. She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I've never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life.”

Brooklyn also accused his parents of involving his siblings, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, in the conflict. “Even my brothers were sent to attack me on social media,” he shared, adding that they ultimately blocked him out of nowhere this last Summer.
Brooklyn also mentioned that the night before their wedding, members of his family told him that Nicola was “not blood” and “not family.”

Now, strikingly, Brooklyn Beckham says that he doesn’t want to “reconcile” with his family. He also wrote that the narrative that his wife controls him is “completely backwards”. “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” adds Brooklyn.
