After a year-long hiatus from the entertainment industry due to a diagnosis of myositis, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is making a comeback with the spy action series 'Citadel: Honey Bunny'. In a candid podcast discussion, Samantha revealed the physical challenges she faced during the shoot, particularly recalling shooting grueling action sequences where she passed out due to exhaustion. She even revealed that she suffered a head concussion during the shoot.

Chadwick Boseman - 'Black Panther'

Chadwick Boseman, known for his iconic portrayal of T'Challa in 'Black Panther', kept his battle with colon cancer private after being diagnosed in 2016. Despite undergoing chemotherapy and surgeries, Boseman continued to work on numerous film projects. Tragically, Boseman lost his life to the disease, with his diagnosis only becoming public knowledge after his passing. At the time, the actor was gearing up to begin work on 'Black Panther 2'. His death left the makers scrambling to rewrite the sequel to pay fitting tribute to the star.

Emilia Clarke - 'Game of Thrones'

Emilia Clarke best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen aka the Mother Of Dragons in 'Game of Thrones', endured two brain aneurysms between 2011 and 2013, a harrowing experience she kept private until recently. Despite undergoing multiple surgeries and facing the risk of immediate death, Clarke courageously returned to work and continued to play the character. Reflecting on her journey, the actress emphasized the importance of resilience in overcoming life's greatest challenges.

Michael C. Hall - 'Dexter'

During the filming of the fourth season of 'Dexter' in 2010, Michael C Hall received a shocking diagnosis of Hodgkin's lymphoma. Despite the personal turmoil, Hall chose to keep his illness confidential from his co-stars until after filming concluded. Following chemotherapy treatments, Hall returned to continue shooting the franchise.

Cobie Smulders - 'How I Met Your Mother'

Best known for her role as Robin Scherbatsky in 'How I Met Your Mother' and her appearances in the MCU, Cobie Smulders continued to show up to the film sets despite battling ovarian cancer. The star, who was diagnosed in 2008, underwent multiple surgeries and alternative treatments and didn't skip her days on the film sets. She ultimately beat cancer and opened up about her battle with all her fans.

Patrick Swayze - 'The Beast'

Patrick Swayze, celebrated for his roles in films like 'Dirty Dancing' and 'Ghost', battled pancreatic cancer with remarkable courage and grace. Despite his diagnosis, Swayze continued to work on projects like 'The Beast', refusing to let his illness stop him from pursuing his dreams. The actor even refused to use painkillers while filming as he felt it would affect his performance. He passed away at age 57, while shooting for his new series.
