Meet the Star-Studded Cast of ‘F1’

The action-packed scene of Formula 1 racing is now set to move into Hollywood with F1. The biopic incorporates parts of the lives of famous racers into its story. The film, which has Brad Pitt as its leading actor, also casts Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, and other real-world F1 superstars such as Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. Joseph Kosinski, famous for his work in Top Gun: Maverick, is the director and will lend his magic to yet another star-studded film filled with both actors portraying racers and real-life competitors now battling it out on screen. Here’s a closer look at the cast:

2/6

'Brad Pitt'

Brad Pitt doesn't require an introduction. He has driven a real Formula One car on a real racetrack while performing most of the car racing himself at the age of sixty-one. His most recent appearance was with George Clooney in the 2024 movie Wolfs. F1 demonstrates that there is never a shortage of high-octane drama by bringing the action icon back to the big screen.

3/6

'Damson Idris'

In the movie, Damson Idris portrays Joshua Pearce, a Formula 1 prodigy. His most recent appearance was in the 2021 Netflix movie Outside the Wire, where he played a drone pilot. He made his film debut in 2016 with City of Tiny Lights. His largest motion picture project to date is Formula One, but he also plays a prince in the upcoming movie Children of Blood and Bone. In addition to being a Tommy Hilfiger brand ambassador, Idris has made appearances on a number of television programs.

4/6

'Javier Bardem'

In the movie, Javier Bardem portrays Ruben Cervantes, the owner of an F1 team. His performance in the 2008 movie No Country for Old Men earned him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He is also well-known for being the spouse of Penélope Cruz, a well-known Hollywood actress. His role in handling egos, money, and the pursuit of victory is essential to the dramatic tension of the film. Bardem's presence makes sure that the movie portrays complex aspects like joy and sorrow that go beyond simple motorsport clashes.

5/6

'Kerry Condon'

In F1, Kerry Condon portrays Kate. Her performance in the 2022 movie The Banshees of Inisherin earned her a BAFTA Award. She is the voice of the artificial intelligence character F.R.I.D.A.Y. in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will be familiar to Marvel fans. She has also appeared in a lot of TV series. In her role as Kate, she stands in for the unsung heroes of Formula 1—the planners and thinkers who make it happen. Her character's determination and intelligence are crucial to the team's progress.

6/6

'Real F1 Drivers Join the Action'

F1 features actual champions of racing as some of the main characters, which include Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Sergio Pérez, and others who play themselves competing against a fictional APXGP team. Fans get an unmatched, unrealistic glimpse into the fictional universe that represents their world with utmost clarity when it comes to racing's pace, ferocity, and competition, which bred fierce rivalries between teams and nations. These nonsensical adaptations serve not only falsified excitement but also an unthinkable clash between two worlds; movies and motorsports fused together overwhelmingly benefit them both.
