‘Ice Age: Boiling Point’ teaser: Manny, Diego and Sid reunite for another chaotic adventure - WATCH

The Ice Age gang is officially heading back to the big screen!

Disney has unveiled the first teaser trailer for 'Ice Age: Boiling Point', offering fans a glimpse of the next big adventure that awaits our ice-age trio and their friends. The trailer offers a first look at the long-awaited sixth instalment in the beloved franchise.

The teaser trailer was shared with the caption, "OUCH! #IceAge: Boiling Point is coming in hot! Arriving only in theaters February 5, 2027."


The brief preview reunites audiences with Manny the mammoth, voiced by Ray Romano; saber-toothed tiger Diego, voiced by Denis Leary; Sid the sloth, voiced by John Leguizamo; the adventurous weasel Buck, voiced by Simon Pegg; and Ellie, voiced by Queen Latifah.



Fan-favourite characters Scrat, Crash, Eddie and Baby Scrat also make their return.

The footage sees the group embarking on a chaotic new adventure through dinosaur-filled landscapes and rivers of lava. According to the teaser, the film will see our favourite dysfunctional bunch, on the run again as they take on new natural callamities in the Lost World.

While the plot details are still under wraps, more information about the film is expected closer to the film's release date. A full-length trailer is also anticipated sometime in late 2026.

The return marks a major milestone for the Ice Age franchise, which first debuted in 2002 and became one of the most successful animated series. The first sequel, 'Ice Age: The Meltdown', was released in 2006 and proved to be a major commercial success, grossing more than USD 660 million worldwide. It was followed by 'Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs' in 2009, 'Ice Age: Continental Drift' in 2012 and 'Ice Age: Collision Course' in 2016.
