Hugh Jackman is already gearing up for more work. As per a recently released the famed actor is all set and ready to join director Ridley Scott for his next big film titled ‘Treasure Island.’ Here is what we know so far about the project.
Hugh Jackman joins ‘Treasure Island’ cast
A direct adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s 1883 novel, ‘Treasure Island’ has been creating quite the buzz ever since the news was initially announced. Now, Jackamn, who has played titular roles in some of the biggest franchises is all set to take over the role of another iconic character, as reported by Variety. The actor has been confirmed to take over the role of Pirate Long John Silver.
The project will be directed by Ridley Scott, who has worked on films such as ‘Blade Runner’, ‘Prometheus’, and ‘Kingdom of Heaven’, while the script is being prepped by writer Jack Thorne, who is also behind the script for the award winning show, ‘Adolscence.’
